Nalongo Youth Empowerment in collaboration with the community, is implementing a 12-month pilot dubbed “Youth Led Initiatives for Employment” (Youth LIFE) Project.
Youth LIFE aims to ensure that vulnerable, out-of-school urban and peri-urban youth share in opportunities for social development and economic growth. Youth will be eligible to pursue a choice of five different technical areas through the program.
NYE will implement all training components and provide leadership on youth assessments while at the same time provides leadership to finalize classroom based training curricula and other technical assistance. NYE, the funding body, will provides ICT Equipments and monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning oversight, and also ensures systems and tools are created through the pilot to facilitate scale up.
